Sometimes one ponders, “What was I doing 3 years ago today?” Well, I was out on the road in New York. Brad Paisley was playing the New York State fair with Vince Gill. We had never done an actual show with Vince before. We had done numerous award shows, and Opry performances, but never a full on show.
I had the pleasure of getting to glean some wonderful info from Vince’s long time friend and tech Benny Garcia. He also showed me all of Vince and Tom Britt’s guitars. I took a couple pictures of Vince’s amp rig and pedal board.

In the last photo you can see Tom’s early 60’s vintage candy panel, with add on Top Boost Vox AC30. Notice that the AC30 is plugged into a variac. The amp to the right is a newer reissue Vox AC15.
