Truetone Lounge - Bob Britt

Bob Britt is a true journeyman guitarist who has played with a veritable who's who of legendary musical artists. In Part 1, of our Truetone Lounge interview, we cover his early years, his first major gig with Leon Russell in the early 80's, recording with Bob Dylan and producer Daniel Lanois on his platinum-selling Time Out Of Mind album, to his touring with the Dixie Chicks, and his more recent work with John Fogerty, and Delbert McClinton. As of late 2019, Britt had joined Bob Dylan's touring band.

In Part 2 of our interview with Bob Britt, Truetone's Zac Childs (Ask Zac) has Bob take us through some of his favorite pieces of gear, and the stories behind them. His touring pedalboard, 1960 tweed Deluxe amp, 1963 Stratocaster, 50's Danelectro, and Bob’s cherished  1956 Stratocaster get to share the spotlight with this world-class guitarist as we focus on his gear. As of late 2019, Britt has joined Bob Dylan's touring band.
