I had been a fan of Kirk Fletcher's music for years, but it took pickup winder extraordinaire Ron Ellis to introduce us. Ron floored me by informing me that Kirk was a fan of the show, and I quickly blurted out, "I WANT HIM TO BE ON THE SHOW." Well, it took a year, but we made it happen. I must say, Kirk's joy is contagious. Then there is his fantastic tone and playing. Fletcher is one of the finest modern bluesmen.
