Truetone Lounge - Scott Bernard

Scott Bernard is a phenomenal guitarist, and human being. He is a neighbor and friend to Truetone, and we knew we had to sit down and tell his story. Note that this was the first in-house production of a Lounge episode. Past episodes had been filmed by an outside source, but this, like every one after, was filmed and edited by Truetone's Jamie Rowe.

Scott Bernard is a respected touring and recording guitarist who has spent the last 8-years touring with pop icon Kenny Loggins. In our Truetone Lounge interview, we cover his early years, his move to Tennessee, and how he established himself as a working guitarist in Music City.  Bernard also demonstrates  his Melancon guitar, his touring pedal board, and the proper way to play the guitar parts for "Footloose."Note: On the recording of the song "Footloose", Nathan East played bass and guitar duties were handled by Buzz Feiten.
